Last year, when we share our list of top adventure travel destinations that was populated by some countries that are generally recognized as providing an exceptional experience for adventure travelers. Places like Nepal, Tibet, and Peru, which are widely considered classics such travel. For a list of this year, these places have been sent to the hotel adventure travel of Fame, giving way to high places and bring about some kind of recognition they need.

So, without further ado, here are my choice for top adventure travel destinations in 2011:

United States

This may sound strange to start a rush on the list, but I heard before rejecting. The United States is a great place different, has much to offer to all travelers, not to mention those in search of adventure. Whatever your outdoor research or epinephrine induce dependence, is an excellent place to look here in the United States. Enjoy mountain climbing? Then head to Colorado, where there are 53 peaks over 14,000 feet in this state alone. Is biking your thing? Then, make the trip to Moab, Utah, home to some of the best tracks in the world.

New Zealand

New Zealand won a place on our list last year, but is a destination of great adventure that deserves another nod for 2011 as well. For many travelers, the capital of New Zealand’s adventure in the world thanks to its incredibly diverse terrain, resulting in some of the best mountain biking, canoeing, climbing and options found anywhere. It also houses what is probably the largest increase in the world as the Milford Track, a track 33 miles through the heart of Fiordland National Park, surrounded by some of the most beautiful landscapes on the planet. The winter months bring skiing and snowboarding options as well, with Mount Ruapehu, a volcano cone in the North Island, one of the most popular.

India

Another large and geographically diverse country, India can attract adventure travelers with a range of options. Do you want to spend time at the beach or scuba diving and snorkeling? Then head to Goa for the abundance of water fun. Prefer hiking? Then head to the northern region at a distance to access the high Himalayas, with its picturesque mountain villages and Buddhist culture. For other types of head to foot from the famous Valley of Flowers an experience of more than 300 species of colorful plants in one place. And for a unique adventure, explore the vast Thar desert in the back of a camel.

Ethiopia

The country is rich in history and culture and offers many options for the active traveler. I recommend trekking the Simien Mountains where you will find baboons upload packages en route to the medieval castle of Gondar or make the trip to Lake Tana, source of the Blue Nile. Stop the holy city of Lalibela and where you can enjoy the beautiful site of a number of churches carved into the rock.

Croatia

During the last decade, Europe has a well-kept secret art a popular destination for unique research culture, a great story and fantasy. But the region has much to offer the adventure traveler as well, with Croatia the lead as the best destination for thrill seekers. Travelers who love to be in the water will love sea kayaking and sailing in the Adriatic Sea, while those who prefer to be less, he loves diving in wrecks of ships which are just different side of the coast. Inland paddlers is crystal clear rivers running, full of great whitewater, while walkers and backpackers enjoy hiking trails offering stunning views of the surroundings. Ucka chief mountain to hike through dense woods that eventually give rise to spectacular views of the Kvarner Bay.

Argentina

For travelers looking to go to extremes, it is hard to beat Argentina. The country offers visitors plenty of things to do and see while browsing through a series of varied landscapes. For example, visitors can go to the region from Niagara Falls to take in the jungle, south to Tierra del Fuego to the taste of Antarctica. Hikers and mountain climbers will find plenty to love on the Patagonia region and incomparable paddlers will love the options and whitewater. True adventurers can test their mettle, the 22 841 Aconcaqua feet tall, the world’s highest mountain outside the Himalayas.

Guyana

Often overlooked for the most popular destinations in South America, French Guiana is an excellent choice for travelers looking for adventure to escape the crowds and off the beaten track. Visits highlighted the jungle canopy of the Iwokrama Forest Reserve and a visit to Kaieteur Falls 741 meters high, which is presented as the peak of fall of the world’s highest waterfall. However, no trip to Guyana is not complete without an increase in the Rupununi region in the south. This remote and isolated areas of wetlands is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including giant river otters, black caiman, anteaters, jaguars, tapirs, anacondas and more. Bird watchers are particularly attractive place with hundreds of unique species on the screen.
